The basic idea was to create an easy first part with left and right hand in parallel and a range for each hand of a fifth to avoid the necessity of shifting hand position. A more elaborate second part should then compensate for the simplicity of the first one. Rhythmically, as it turned out, the easy first part is not that easy to play, and can be considered to be slightly challenging.
