A birthday present (in 1981 or 1982) for Philip de Josselin de Jong (graphic designer). Originally this waltz was even shorter than it is now: I appended the development (measure 25 to 44) in 1988. On this site you will come across some of the photos Philip made at the time (for example my portrait on the cover of the Piano Works album).
